We're always headed somewhere...living is constant motion toward a destination. This blog is an eclectic collection of writings...some of which are just creative pieces and some of which capture my on-going journey of discovery, struggle, surrender and joy. I'm learning to surrender and let God navigate the way, while He faithfully reveals that my true identity lies within Him.

The Threshing Floor

the threshing floor can be a cold & brutal place...
but when the chaff is removed by the breath of God...
I'll stand strengthened in HIS warm & tender grace.

where do you grow your roots?

Perfectly, Imperfect Me

Chrissy: I have lived and loved. I have laughed and cried. I have had plenty and have gone without. I am approaching the tail end of raising 4 sons; 23, 22, 19 & 18. This is rather gut wrenching for me. I attempted to stave off the empty nest but in March of 2010, my sweet Isaiah lived for 10 days before going home to be with the Lord. A mother should never have to bury her child. Did I mention I love Jesus?
